Welcome! I'm Mandy. I am a lover of animals, travel, culture, weird food, writing, nostalgia, vintage things & The Beatles. I live in a cozy apartment with my perfect dog (I know what you're thinking but really, he is). I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and have been living in Columbia since 2006.
Columbia, SC, or "Cola" (aka Soda City) for short, has an unmerited reputation for being dirty, hot and boring, among other things. But the fact of the matter is, these things simply aren't true. Except...we do have some HOT summers.
